Margo Ann Tri, 77, Red Wing, died Monday, March 23, 2009, at Fairview Seminary Home.

Margo Ann Tri, 77, Red Wing, died Monday, March 23, 2009, at Fairview Seminary Home. She was born Sept. 12, 1931, in Red Wing, the daughter of Raymond “Happy” and Helen (Anway) Hanson. She attended school in Red Wing. She married James “Ollie” Tri on March 4, 1949, in Red Wing and they lived in Diamond Bluff. She worked at Red Wing Shoe for 43 years, retiring in 1996. Ollie died Feb. 15, 1999. She had most recently been living in Red Wing. She was a member of the Red Men Club and Burnson-Lillyblad VFW 1218 Auxiliary and she enjoyed camping, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include five children: Michael (Theresa) Tri of Diamond Bluff, Kelly (Cindy) Tri of Glenwood City, Wis., Candace (Dale Helget) Huppert of Red Wing, Mary (Jack) O’Neil of Ellsworth and Racheal Tri of Red Wing; twenty-two grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerome “Butch” (Phyllis) and Randy Hanson, all of Red Wing; two sisters, Becky Voth of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Penny (Ken) Shockman of Cumberland, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons: Patrick, Daniel and Bryan Tri; two brothers: Pete and Doug Hanson; one sister, Darlene Richter.

Memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Burial will be in Diamond Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
