Rose Marie Trulen, 87 of Red Wing

Rose Marie Trulen, 87, of Red Wing, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at her home. She was born Feb. 6, 1922, to Louis and Tessie (Chivarelli) DeRose. She married Donald Trulen on Sept. 9, 1943. She worked for Red Wing Shoe Co. for over 25 years. Donald died n June 16, 1993. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She enjoyed walking and going on cruises with her son and daughter-in-law.

She is survived by her son, Don (Kay) Trulen of Red Wing; brother, Louis (Molly) DeRose of Torrington, Ct.; two nephews, Robert (Jo) Prahl of Blaine and William (Diana) DeRose of Torrington and niece Linda Church of Torrington.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Kathryn Trulen; sister, Dorothy Hayes, and two brothers, William and Frank DeRose.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. today at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with Dar Reeck officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
