Deer Crest plays host to fundraisers
Deer Crest, formerly Ebenezer at Fairview Red Wing, is holding dinner fundraisers each month in which all proceeds go to a local charity. To date the program, which started in November, has raised approximately $1,500.
Deer Crest, formerly Ebenezer at Fairview Red Wing, is holding dinner fundraisers each month in which all proceeds go to a local charity. To date the program, which started in November, has raised approximately $1,500.
The biggest fundraiser so far was for the Environmental Learning Center in February, where 90 people attended and the event raised $500.
Deer Crest supplies the food and pays to advertise the event, while an organization’s volunteers are charged with serving food and spreading word of the event. Fundraisers typically happen Friday evenings.
