History Centeris looking for local volunteers

Are you a storyteller? Do you enjoy telling a good story? Would you like to tell interesting stories to students about Goodhue County?

The Goodhue County History Center would like to talk to you. The center is currently taking applications and conducting training for volunteer tour guides for the upcoming spring and summer season.

Lead a group of students throughout the museum weekdays, and bring to life the interesting stories of Goodhue County’s past residents.

Introduce the students to the materials that were used and how our predecessors contributed to what our community is today. Help students discover their backyard history by relating the stories found throughout the History Center.

Upcoming tour guide training is from 10 to 11 a.m. February 12 and 19. You do not need an extensive knowledge of Goodhue County’s history, only an enthusiasm to tell a good story.
