Youth could win trip to D.C.; deadline Feb. 16
One area youth will have the chance to go on a paid trip to Washington, D.C., June 13 to 18.
One area youth will have the chance to go on a paid trip to Washington, D.C., June 13 to 18.
The contest is open to sophomores, juniors or seniors in Zumbrota/ Mazeppa, Kenyon/ Wanamingo, Pine Island, Goodhue, Red Wing and Cannon Falls schools.
During the trip, the winner will join hundreds of young people on a tour of the nation’s capitol. You will spend a day on on Capitol Hill observing the House and Senate in session and vising members of Congress.
The trip is sponsored by the Goodhue County Cooperative Electric. You do not have to be a member of the cooperative to enter.
To enter, pick up an application form at the cooperative, 1410 Northstar Drive, Zumbrota. The completed application must be returned to the cooperative by Feb. 16; the winner will be announced in March.
