Wedding: Burkholder-Brown

Heather Burkholder and Danny Brown of Lake City were married Oct. 18, 2008, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Lake City with the Rev. Bruce Stam officiating.

Maid of honor was Jenny Durgin of Lake City. Bridesmaids were Vanessa Harstad of Red Wing; Lisa Anderson of Lake City, sister of the groom; and Alexa Burkholder of Lake City, daughter of the bride.

Best man was Gordy Cox of Lake City. Groomsmen were Allen Brown of Modesto, Ill., brother of the groom; Jeff Huffman of Lake City; and Nathaniel Jasso of Lake City, nephew of the groom.

Flower girls were Hally Burkholder of Lake City, daughter of the bride, and Natalie Anderson of Lake City, niece of the groom. Ushers were Kevin Huffman of Red Wing and Nate Anderson of Lake City, brother-in-law of the groom.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of Lake City High School. She is employed by Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical in Winona. She is the daughter of Matt and Connie Hrtanek of Luck, Wis., formerly of Frontenac.

The groom is a 1988 graduate of Lake City High School. He is employed by Federal Mogul in Lake City. He is the son of Rollie Brown and the late Mary Brown of Claremont, Minn., formerly of Lake City.

The couple live in Lake City.
