School Board holds truth-in-taxation hearing
The Red Wing School District's levy will increase by 25 percent for 2009.
The Red Wing School District's levy will increase by 25 percent for 2009.
School Board members received a financial update from Finance Director Brad Johnson during Monday's annual truth-in-taxation hearing. The total amount levied for 2009 will be about $9.3 million, Johnson reported.
No one from the public addressed the board during the hearing. School Board members reconvened at 7 a.m. today to set the levy.
