Marjorie Feigal, 84, of Pine Island, died Thursday at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie, Wis.

Marjorie Feigal, 84, of Pine Island, died Thursday at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie, Wis. Born April 17, 1924, in Hutchinson, Minn., to Jojn and Alvina (Studor) Kottke, she lived on the farm and attended school in Hutchinson. She graduated from Marshall High School in Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota. On March 3, 1944, she married Robert Feigal in Minneapolis. They moved to Chicago and he entered the U.S. Navy. She moved back to Pine Island before his discharge and was a homemaker and member of the United Methodist Church. She was active in numerous ladies groups, youth groups, and a teacher for Sunday school. She was also active in the community including volunteer work at Pine Haven Care Center. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, sewing and spending time at their cabin. He died July 2, 2004.

Survivors include three sons, Robert (Cynthia Stickles) of Saint Paul, Michael (Paula) of Menomonie, and Mark (Carma) of Boulder, Colo.; two daughters, Anne (Larry) Day of San Diego, and Sue Feigal-Hitch of Lakeville, Minn.; one brother, Willard (Marge) Kottke of Farmington, N.M.; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; one brother, Kenneth Kottke; and one sister, Annabelle Duisberg.

Funeral was Monday at the United Methodist Church in Pine Island. Casketbearers were her grandchildren James Day, Lori Frederic, Matt Feigal, Molly Feigal, Rob Feigal-Stickles, Delaney Kreger-Stickles, Morgan Feigal-Stickles, Ben Feigal, Jordan Feigal, Jacob Feigal, Alexandra Bernini Feigal, Nate Hitch, Justin Hitch, Raymond Feigal and Luke Feigal. Burial was in the Pine Island Cemetery.
