Annual Victorian Holiday Dinner scheduled over two weekends

KENYON — The Kenyon Area Historical Society will present its annual Victorian Holiday Dinner, complete with live entertainment and an outdoor experience, over two weekends, Dec. 6-7 and 12-14.

On Dec. 6, 12 and 13, the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a bonfire and horse-drawn ride, followed by the buffet dinner at 7:15 p.m. at the historic M.T. Gunderson House. The meal will include roast beef and a flaming plum pudding dessert.

On Dec. 7 and 14, participants will start at the Gunderson House with the buffet dinner at 2:30 p.m., then go on the horse-drawn ride to the bonfire.

Participants will have an opportunity to tour the house, be waited on by costumed staff, and enjoy live music.
