Council accepts fiber feasibility study
The Red Wing City Council accepted a feasibility study examining whether Red Wing could implement a citywide fiber optic network to provide households with Internet, television and telephone services.
The Red Wing City Council accepted a feasibility study examining whether Red Wing could implement a citywide fiber optic network to provide households with Internet, television and telephone services.
The study was conducted by Lookout Point Communications. By accepting the study the council merely approved the consultants work.
The council has yet to decide if it will continue to pursue a citywide fiber optic network.
