Glenn "Red" Dahl, 77, of Red Wing, died Nov. 8 at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park.

Glenn "Red" Dahl, 77, of Red Wing, died Nov. 8 at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park. Born April 7, 1931, in Chicago to Margret and Lawrence Dahl, he moved to Red Wing with his parents in 1947 and graduated in 1949. He played several sports. On Oct. 22, 1949, he married Doris Huppert. He was a bartender-owner for 17 years before going into sales in 1970 until he retired.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Red Wing, the Elks Club and the American Legion. He enjoyed sports and boating, politics and telling jokes.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Schultz; children Gregg, Garry (Jeanne), Glenn "Rusty" and Lynn (Jeff) Huppert; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Dahl.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Church. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m.
