Red Wing Innkeepers have set the date for their annual holiday home tour. The eighth annual B&B Holiday Open House and Tour scheduled for Sunday, December 7th, from 3 to 6 pm. Participating B&Bs include the Golden Lantern Inn, The Candlelight Inn, Moondance Inn, The Pratt-Taber and the Round Barn Farm Bed & Breakfast & Bread.
The B&Bs on tour represent some of Southern Minnesota’s most historical and architecturally important homes including a charming English Tudor, a stately Italianate, a lovely Victorian Italiante, and a three-story Bracketed Country Manor House. All will be uniquely decorated for the Holiday season.
Out of town guests who staying at any of the participating B&Bs on December 7th receive complimentary tickets for the tour. All B&Bs will be decked out for the holidays and will serve refreshments. Live entertainment will be available at several properties, including the Golden Lantern Inn, Moondance and the Round Barn Farm.
Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity.
This is a terrific opportunity to enjoy holiday treats and entertainment while exploring Red Wing’s romantic B&Bs and planning for a quiet winter getaway. Gift certificates make excellent holiday gifts and each Inn will offer gift certificates for sale.
Tickets for the tour are available for $12 in advance or $15 dollars at the door. Tickets may be purchased from any of the participating Inns as well as the Red Wing Visitors and Convention Center, through the mail, or by calling (800) 498-3444. Tickets can also be purchased at several local businesses including: Uffda Shop, Moments on Main, Lily’s Coffeehouse, Life’s Little Oasis, Corner Drug, and the Red Wing Chamber of Commerce.
