Lodermeier joins Vogel & Gorman

Not everyone gets the job he wants straight out of college.

Goodhue native Adam Lodermeier, however, considers himself one of the lucky ones.

Lodermeier took a position with the Vogel Gorman law office in May, after graduating from North Dakota State University with a law degree. The law office is in Red Wing.

In his new job, Lodermeier will focus on family law, which was his emphasis at NDSU. Family law tackles issues such as divorce, custody issues, adoption and child support.

"I do better dealing with people," Lodermeier said, explaining why he chose family law as his niche.

Not only did Lodermeier begin his career where he wanted, he also moved back to his hometown with his wife, Kim, a fellow native of Goodhue, and their young daughter.

"I was fortunate enough to move into what I wanted to do in the community I wanted, all at one time," Lodermeier said.
