Breast cancer support event set for Oct. 24
ALMA, Wis. — A special event in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24 at Art & Soul, 303 N. Main St.
ALMA, Wis. — A special event in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24 at Art & Soul, 303 N. Main St.
The public event will include live music by Lightning Troy Jackson, a “Holding On” book signing with author Terri Reiland and illustrator Gail Pommerening, a silent auction, and snacks.
Twenty percent of Art & Soul gallery sales, including “Holding On” books, and 25 percent of sales of a limited edition giclee print “New Blossom” is being donated to the mammography department of Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Wabasha.
