9/9/2008: Rochester Social Security office relocating

The regional Social Security Administration office will move Sept. 15 across from Rochester Century High School. The address is 2443 Clare Lane N.E., Rochester MN 55906.

"The new office will offer improved privacy for interviews, which is critical given the type of information that is exchanged with our visitors and callers," said Dave Rude, area manager. "It will also offer improved security."

Visitors from the Red Wing area will take the exit for 37th Street/41st Street off Highway 52 South. They should go east on 37th Street for about two miles. At that point, 37th Street intersects with Highway 63 and becomes Highway 22, also known as Circle Drive. Continue driving straight about 1.4 miles. Century High School will be on the left. Exit Highway 22 (Circle Drive) toward the Kwik Trip, drive about 100 feet and then turn left into Clare Lane.
