Rebecca Ann Forss, 50, Minneapolis, formerly of Ellsworth

Rebecca Ann Forss, 50, Minneapolis, formerly of Ellsworth, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minn. Born Aug. 13, 1958, to Donald and Nancy (Brown) Forss in Red Wing, she was raised in Ellsworth and graduated in 1976 from Ellsworth High School. In 1978 she received her associates in applied science degree in respiratory care from the College of St. Catherine. In 1996 she received her bachelor's degree with an emphasis in management from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul. She was the adjutant clinical instructor for the College of St. Catherine. She recently held multiple positions throughout the Twin Cities medical community and at a hospital in Metarie, La. She enjoyed traveling and photography.

Survivors include her siblings, Dennis of Ellsworth, Sandra of Red Wing, Karen Coulson, of Red Wing, Lester of Los Osso, Calif., and Jerry (Joan) of Hager City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Nancy; and her grandparents.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth. Pallbearers will be siblings and Vern Larkin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
