Letter: Tuesday night is for young football players

To the Editor:

The Youth Football Association invites all students who would like to participate in sixth- and seventh-grade tackle football registration Tuesday. There will be a mandatory parent and player meeting at 7 p.m.

Seventh-graders can pick up equipment at 6:30; sixth-graders will pick up equipment following the meeting.

The association is celebrating its 14th year. Approximately 1,5000 children have participated. We are proud to say the cost has risen only $15 since year one. This year’s cost is $65.

We would also like to invite the community to come watch our games Saturday mornings at Twin Bluff Middle School. There is no charge and the entertainment is fantastic.
