A 46-year-old Vasa Township man was injured Monday when he was attacked by a bull, according to authorities.
Dale Safe was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester following the accident, according to Goodhue County authorities. A St. Marys spokeswoman said Safe was not listed as a patient there.
Safe was attacked just before 4:30 p.m. on property along County Road 51, according to the sheriff's department.
Authorities said Safe was hit from behind by the bull and suffered possible a possible back injury.
Initial reports indicate Safe was conscious when authorities arrived at the scene. The incident occurred on property owned by Donald Safe, authorities said.
Goodhue first responders and Red Wing ambulance assisted at the scene.
