Letter:Drazkowski cares about our rights

To the Editor:

Rep. Steve Drazkowski has received the MCCL endorsement for his 100 percent prolife voting record.

As many of you know, Drazkowski was elected in a special election last August to fill out the term vacated by Steve Sviggum. Drazkowski is seeking re-election this November.

Drazkowski has done so well in many areas. This seems to be the case when a leader is totally prolife.

Abortion is not just “one-issue” for me. If someone like Drazkowski cares enough to protect the unborn, he is going to care about our constitutional rights as well. Believing that someone has a God-given right to live, also means we have a God-given responsibility to live as good citizens and neighbors and provide service for others.

A strong America lets her people do that — provide “work” not “governmental dependence.” A “change” to a socialist “big daddy — I’ll take your money and provide for your needs” government is not a strong America.

I’m proud to know Steve Drazkowski and look forward to having him serve our community for another two years.
