Shuffle raises more than $127,000
Sixty-two teams participating in the Mississippi Shuffle raised more than $127,000 for cancer research.
Sixty-two teams participating in the Mississippi Shuffle raised more than $127,000 for cancer research. The Shuffle is Red Wing’s version of Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
Individuals collecting the most donations were Linda Lidgerding, $2,300l; Steve Truttman, $2,150; Kenny Zeien, $1,706
Top teams were Footsoldiers, $5,467; Eagles for Life, $5,036.88; Red Wing Shoe Co., $4,778. Silver teams raised more than $5,000.
Bronze teams raised more than $2,500. They included: ADM, Bridget’s Brigade, Cruizin Knudsenz, Fairview No. 1, Red Wing Shoe, Reddy Walkers, Koplins Krew, Meat’s Cruisers, Kancer Kickers II, Kruizin 4 Kristi, Lawrence Realty, Looking Great in 2008, Meadowbrook Cardinals, Meyer Pole Cats, Kjurstin’s Krew, Associated Bank, Grandmas Garden Gang.
There will be wrap-up meeting for the Shuffle Aug. 25 at First Lutheran Church.
