Xcel makes management changes
Kent Larson, regional vice president for Xcel Energy, has been named head of the company’s transmission operations in eight Western and Midwestern states.
Kent Larson, regional vice president for Xcel Energy, has been named head of the company’s transmission operations in eight Western and Midwestern states.
Larson succeeds Doug Jaeger, who resigned last month to become CEO of Adolfson & Peterson Construction of Minneapolis.
In addition, David Sparby has been named president and CEO of Northern States Power Co.-Minnesota, an Xcel Energy company.
He succeeds Cynthia Lesher, previous head of Xcel Energy’s operations in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Lesher has announced her retirement effective Sept. 30.
