To the Editor:
What’s with the River City Days parade?
I feel that’s it’s a shame that there were no bands in our parade, not even our own.
Is it because we charge too much for our entries?
These high school students practice hard and give up their weekends just to go to different areas and perform their skills. Why should they be charged to enjoy what they do and entertain us? It should be our pleasure just to have them here.
If something is not changed in our future, we will have no fun and our River City Days parade will be just a memory.
