Jewel HOA sponsors Lethal Luau, a murder mystery dinner

The Jewel Home Owners Association in conjunction with the Jewel Golf Club and the Restaurant at the Jewel is sponsoring a Murder Mystery Dinner on Saturday, July 19th at the Restaurant at the Jewel. A social hour prior to the dinner will get underway at 6 PM with the first course served at 7 PM. The public is welcome to attend. Preregistration is required by noon, Thursday, July 17th.

The Turtle Dove Players out of Albert Lea, MN will be performing. They have acted individually in many different venues throughout the country but have fun getting together throughout the year to put on the murder mysteries.

You will become part of an investigative team resolving a murder committed at a sunset luau in Hawaii. The action will unfold around you between the four courses of the meal and you will be asked at the end of the evening to identify who did it.

The menu for the evening will include a salad, chicken wild rice soup, choice of either pan fried walleye with rice and vegetables or ribeye with baked potato and vegetables and a dessert. Non alcoholic beverages are included with the meal.

Reservations should be made by calling the Jewel at 800-738-7714. The cost for the dinner and murder mystery is $35 per person if you make your reservations before noon on Monday, July 14th. The cost will go up to $40 following that time with no reservations taken after noon, Thursday, July 17th. Seating for large groups is limited so register early.
