Register for Project Pink fundraiser

Golfers and non-golfers are invited to participate in Lake City Medical Center’s 8th annual golf event Aug. 8 at Lake City Golf Club.

The event is a fundraiser for Project Pink.

The project’s focus is breast cancer awareness and prevention, and securing financial support to purchase a digital mammography machine.

Golfers can reserve their spot by Friday. The fee for golf, a cart and dinner is $65.

Golfers can start registering at 3 p.m. for the 4 p.m. shotgun start. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Participants can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win two Sun Country airline tickets from John Hall’s Alaska Tours, a quilt donated by Customers and Friends of Rather Bee Quilting, a golf round and lessons donated by Lake Pepin Golf Course or a meat bundle from Huettl’s Meat Locker. The evening will conclude with a steak or chicken dinner.

The dinner fee for non-golfers is only $20, which includes a chance to win many prizes.
