Letter: McKinley will bring fiscal restraint

To the Editor:   We have a chance to elect an exceptional public servant in Bill McKinley. He will bring much needed fiscal restraint to the City Council.

We have a chance to elect an exceptional public servant in Bill McKinley. He will bring much needed fiscal restraint to the City Council.

McKinley stands out among the four candidates in the upcoming Ward 2 special election because he is willing to take a stand on issues no other candidate has talked about, such as preserving our historic buildings and saving our riverfront from any future unwanted development.

McKinley genuinely cares about Red Wing, and he is clearly the most qualified candidate. We could sure use McKinley’s talents right now. Please join me in supporting Bill McKinley on July 8 in the Ward 2 special election.
