Pierce County design meeting planned on Highway 10 work
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold an information meeting to discuss preliminary design concepts for reconstructing the Pierce County Road E intersection at Highway 10.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold an information meeting to discuss preliminary design concepts for reconstructing the Pierce County Road E intersection at Highway 10. The meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Pierce County Highway Department Office.
The intersection was the site of a 2004 crash that killed University of Wisconsin-River Falls Chancellor Ann Lydecker.
The project will realign approximately 700 feet of the north leg of County Road E to improve intersection safety. Right-of-way acquisition will be required. Construction is currently scheduled for 2010.
