To the Editor:
With the resignation of a council member due to health, and the honor shown by another, it is time to think about filling these positions. You have time to get any information needed to file for the election coming up.
The Ward 1 council seat is also up this year.
Anyone who wishes to run against the incumbent can count on my support, not only with a donation of time, but also financial help. File as soon as you can, get your message out, let us know how you will help Red Wing to prosper, and bring the needed change to the City Council.
Speak to your neighbors and friends, find new people to fill the seats, we know what we have now. Let’s see some new ideas.
The mayor is not going to run again, too bad. So this is an open office as well. Let’s go, Red Wing. Go forward and find public servants that will serve the public, not each other.
