Ruth Ellen Capatske, 58, Beldenville, died Tuesday at River Falls Area Hospital.

Ruth Ellen Capatske, 58, Beldenville, died Tuesday at River Falls Area Hospital. Born Nov. 20, 1949, in River Falls, the daughter of Edward and Loretta (Brookshaw) Pechacek, she was a 1967 graduate of River Falls High School and married Donald Capatske on April 20, 1968, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Big River, Wis. After raising her family, she worked for Jacques Seed Co. and later grew and sold vegetables. She was a member of the 4H All Stars/Country Partners and St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth.

Survivors include her husband, Donald; three children, Linda (Scott) Donnelly, Ellsworth, Dave (Krista), Ellsworth, and Jason, Beldenville; five grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Deiss, Centuria, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, with the Rev. Tom Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ed Peterson, Richard Marek, Wally Betzel, Al and Dan Deiss, Tony Kent, Mike Spiess, Jerry Place and Phil Most. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Derek, Alex and Hunter Donnelly, Cora and Adam Capatske. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, and for one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Hill Funeral Home and Cremation Services, is handling the arrangements.
