Christian Women’s luncheon planned for May 12

The River Valley Christian Women’s Connection invites the public to its “Today’s Woman” luncheon at 11:30 a.m. May 12 at the St. James Hotel. Reservations and cancellations are essential. Call Dorothy at (651) 385-0265 by Tuesday.

Special feature and music will be Kari Berit of Red Wing, author of “The Unexpected Caregiver.” She will share techniques on physical fitness and creating balance in one’s life.

Speaker will be Joy Miller from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Miller lived many years in South Africa and is an insurance agent who once owned a bed and breakfast. Her hobby of making stained glass is the basis for her theme, “From broken to beautiful.” All women are welcome.
