Friends of Library plans free program on poetry
Friends of the Library will present a free poetry program by Penchant, a group of Minnesota poets including Susan Thurston Hamerski, Toni Easterson, JoAnne Makela and Beverly Voldseth, at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Red Wing Public Library.
Friends of the Library will present a free poetry program by Penchant, a group of Minnesota poets including Susan Thurston Hamerski, Toni Easterson, JoAnne Makela and Beverly Voldseth, at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Red Wing Public Library.
The poets will begin the program with a workshop, in which they will guide participants through writing exercises.
The poets then will read from their work in the recently published anthology “Penchant.” The program, including the workshop, is open to the public. For more information, call Joyce Harlow, (651) 388-8353.
