WABASHA — Arrowhead Bluffs Museum plans to sell its entire Winchester collection at public auction April 18 and 19 at the Kull and Supica Firearms Auction in Topeka, Kan.

The Wabasha-based museum is selling its extensive collection of Winchester firearms and memorabilia to free up exhibition space for a general firearms display, officials said.

The collection includes at least one of every major model of rifle or shotgun made by the firm from its beginnings in the 1860s through the 1980s — a span illustrating 120 years of American firearms evolution.

For descriptions of auction firearms, go online to www.armsbid.com. Real-time online bidding will be available during the auction, which starts at noon April 18 and continues at 9 a.m. April 19. Telephone and FAX bids also will be accepted.
