Parents Forever classes will be offered in Wabasha County this spring. The schedule is April 10, 17, 24, May 1 and 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. The classes will cover many topics, including the impact of divorce on children, money issues in divorce, the impact of divorce on adults, and the legal issues and role of mediation in divorce.
Parents Forever is a research-based curriculum developed by University of Minnesota Extension educators and other professionals. The Parents Forever program was developed in response to Minnesota legislation requiring educational programs for divorcing parents, and it meets the Minnesota Supreme Court’s educational criteria.
Parents do not need to reside in Wabasha County to participate. The fee is $50 per person.
