Two youths arrested in residential burglary

Two teenage boys were taken to Minnesota Correctional Facility-Red Wing after they allegedly stole electronic equipment from Robert Strusz, 2118 Pioneer Road, No. 5.

Two teenage boys were taken to Minnesota Correctional Facility-Red Wing after they allegedly stole electronic equipment from Robert Strusz, 2118 Pioneer Road, No. 5.

Strusz told Red Wing police that the items were taken when he was not at home sometime from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. March 10. Taken were 36 DVDs ($540), a Nintendo Wii console ($250) and seven Wii games ($350).

Police Chief Tim Sletten said officer David Addleman pursued the investigation. When he spoke with the two boys, they reportedly admitted entering the residence and taking the items, all of which were recovered.

The youths, ages 16 and 17, are being charged with second-degree burglary.
