Panthers break dual meet losing streak
After losing 15 dual meets in a row, the Ellsworth High School girls' tennis team defeated Bloomer Tuesday 4-3 in a non-conference meet.
BLOOMER - After losing 15 dual meets in a row, the Ellsworth High School girls' tennis team defeated Bloomer Tuesday 4-3 in a non-conference meet.
The Panthers, 1-7 overall, won three singles matches and the No. 1 doubles match. Winners included Jordan Olson, Stacie Peterson, Rochelle Sweig in singles and the doubles team of Kali Schaar and Megan Stress.
EHS will go for its first Middle Border Conference win since 2009 at Mondovi Thursday. Match time is at 4:15 p.m.
