Cannon Falls teacher vying for top honor

A Cannon Falls teacher is in the running for this year’s Minnesota Teacher of the Year award.

The state teachers union on Feb. 14 announced that Kathleen Tilderquist, a business teacher for grades 7-12, is among 28 semifinalists selected for the honor. A 25-person selection panel will trim the list to 10 in late March.
