Letter: Enjoy friends while they’re here

To the Editor:

As some of you may know, on Jan 28th my good friend and fellow musician from the Back Porch Band Jane Nigon was killed in a head-on car crash on an icy road. I think some of you may have seen her perform with me. She was the short, skinny, over energetic blonde with the accordion or one of the many other instruments she played.

Jane was one of the most kind and friendly people I have ever known. I consider myself very lucky to have known and had the many occasions to make music with her over the last 12 years. I can’t begin to explain how much I will miss her in the years to come.

Make the most of every moment you have with the people you love.
