Letter: List of thefts now includes rebuilt bike

To the Editor: So why is it we are seeing shoplifting all around us? Do these citizens like to be headaches to store owners and? And why are we seeing homes broke into and stuff stolen?

So why is it we are seeing shoplifting all around us? Do these citizens like to be headaches to store owners and? And why are we seeing homes broke into and stuff stolen?

The other night, a boy at a nearby playground bugged me to buy a stolen electronic item. I said no. He then threatened me to give him $20. Now I found my well-used and liked bike stolen.

I rebuilt this bike and use it when I go along rail lines for research work, to report rails that can break, and shoe brakes not releasing on rail cars. The railroads thank me for helping them.

This 10-speed bike has half Schwinn and Murray parts and has three stickers on all three bars advertising a coffee shop. Its black and the handle bar grips are gold. I would like the bike returned as soon as possible.
