Ellsworth Cheese Curd Festival Underway

Ellsworth's 11th annual Cheese Curd Festival began Friday night and went through Sunday in its new location in East End Park. The parade will be the highlight of today's activities, along with a pie-judging contest, bingo, meat raffle and a bean-bag toss tournament. The parade will begins at 1 p.m. Meanwhile on Saturday a Kiddie Parade was held with participants dressed in period costumes at the time of Ellsworth's founding. The village is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.
