Rosie (Flynn) Kinneman of Hager City was diagnosed with advanced Lobular Breast Cancer on June 29, 2009.
On that day her family's world was turned upside down. Since then, she has gone through six rounds of intensive chemotherapy, she had a double mastectomy on Oct. 20 and is currently undergoing radiation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
She's been unable to work at her packaging job at Hanisch Bakery since the surgery and faces staggering medical bills.
This benefit is to raise money for insurance deductibles, unpaid medical bills, prescriptions, and other family expenses.
The event is set to begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at the Gas-Lite Bar and Grill, W8945 US Hwy 10, Ellsworth, (Between Ellsworth and Prescott on Hwy 10)
It will include a large item raffle, silent auction, and mini raffles all night, along with a pig Roast and the fixin’s, DJ & Karaoke by The Scene
