Hastings man surrenders peacefully following five-hour standoff with police

The Hastings man who had barricaded himself at his home has surrendered.

The Hastings man who had barricaded himself at his home has surrendered.

Kurt Baker surrendered at about 12:25 a.m. Tuesday at his home on Tiffany Drive.

He is being held at the Dakota County Jail in Hastings. He was booked at 2:07 a.m. on probable cause felony for obstructing the legal process. He was being sought for a probation violation.
