Wingers whirl onto Sheldon stage

Red Wing's annual talent showcase, Winger Whirl, will take place Saturday, Jan. 6, at the Sheldon Theatre. Come for cocktails and hor d'oeuvres at 6 p.m. and stay for the show starting at 7 p.m.

Red Wing High School alumni Kendall Mark will emcee the evening, bringing to the stage her charisma as a professional news anchor and reporter for such outlets as FOX Sports North, AirVuz News and The Big Ten Network.

The evening's roster of talent includes:

• Dan Marrs directing the RWHS Jazz Band

• Sheena Tisland vocals with Brent Wyatt

• Sam Brown (bo.monro) and Charlie Brown

• Mike Arturi

• Ben and Lynn Dulak

• Kik Gheen, Leah Buysee and Kristianna Harris

• Jim Leise and Jeff Chalmers

• Henry Patterson and Sam Ketcham

• RWHS Speech Team

• Therese Thompson accompanied by Martha Hendrickson

• Kevin, Kendall and Elle Mark

• Margaret Foot Reid

Seating for general admission is $30 per person. This all-ages event is a benefit for the Red Wing School Foundation, an organization whose mission is to raise money and expand educational growth in the Red Wing community.
