Wins for Blues, Hubbers in SCVL play last week

The Ellsworth Hubbers improved to 8-3 in St. Croix Valley League play after beating Spring Valley last Saturday evening 7-3.

Mitch Johnson was the starting pitcher and went six innings allowing just three runs and striking out four.  Britton Wolf pitched the final three innings, not allowing no runs.
 Brandon Voelker had three hits with an rbi for the Hubs' and teammates Cody Holden and Jake Betthauser each had two hits and an rbi.
