Many in the surrounding communities will remember Bill during the 1950s for his ownership days at the Ford Garage in Pepin, Wis. Then in 1966, Bill began his trucking business, "Bill's Trucking," retiring in 1988. He also served as a volunteer driver for Pepin County for many years.

Bill was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pepin. He loved to travel with his wife to points throughout the world, memories that will last and be cherished.

Bill will be remembered as a hard working businessman, always working hard to provide for his family. He was a giving man with an extremely large charitable heart. Literally, he found the best in all the people that he met. He had a great sense of humor. His most prized asset in his life was his family, especially his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will remember all the trips in the dump truck, getting their noses stolen, special walks, breakfast at the Pepin Cafe and the "eating help" he would give them with their french fries or ice cream cones.

Bill will be sadly missed by his wife, Janice of Pepin; two daughters, Diana Cooper of Nelson, Wis., and Pam (Al) Wood of Hager City; three stepdaughters, Karen (Doug) Miller of La Crosse, Carol (Ronald) Price of Minneapolis and Susan Lamb of Sparta, Wis; three stepsons, Dennis Ender of Onalaska, Gary (Susan) Ender of Onalaska and David Ender of Onalaska; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; 14 stepgrandchildren; 21 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Kaye of Pepin, Janet Shanklin of La Crosse, Alice Rothe of Colorado Springs, Delores Wise of Hastings, Minn., and Marguerite (Lynn) Iverson of Nelson; one brother, Spencer (Norma) Tiffany of Wauseon, Ohio; also by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents and first wife, Betty, three brothers, Scott, Herbert "Buster" and Pat Tiffany, along with his daughter Sherry Tiffany on Dec. 9, 1964, preceded Bill in death.

Funeral service for Bill was Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pepin with the Rev. Karna Baseman-Stark officiating. Cremation followed. Talbot Family Funeral Home, Alma Chapel, handled arrangements. Memories and condolences to comfort Bill's family may be sent to www.talbot-poeschel.com.
