Wildlife, natural beauty inspire exhibitors

Two artists exhibiting work at Crossings through the month of May say they are inspired by the flora and fauna of the natural world.

Foxfeather Ženková describes herself as "a bird nut," while Jane Marie Lewis has always enjoyed the outdoors and beauty of the Mississippi River Valley.

The Minnesota native's paintings - and Ženková's mixed media pieces - are on display through Friday May 31. A reception will be he 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday May 11.
