Fire sculpture

Art+Fire 08 takes place on the shores of Lake Pepin in Stockholm. A castle built of scrap wood will be burned at dusk while Illumination Fire Troupe members dance. Music and other activities will start at 4 p.m.

Autumn Harvest Days

The 28th annual Minnesota State Corn Husking Contest runs two days in Oak Center. The ninth annual Corn Shredding Autumn Harvest Days also will include demonstrations, machinery displays and slow races, and other opportunities to experience life on the farm in a bygone era.
