Madi Green’s nine kills highlighted Lake City’s 25-17, 25-19, 25-14 Hiawatha Valley League loss to Byron Tuesday night.

Breanna Gates had four kills in the defeat while Daynalyn chipped in two. Martha Guevara led the Tigers with seven digs, followed by Emily Ziebell’s four. Megan Schramski had four digs as well as two ace serves. Bailey Cronin had eight set assists.

The Tigers (3-14) host Cannon Falls Thursday, then head to Cannon Falls for a tournament Saturday.
