In its final Hiawatha Valley League match of the season, Cannon Falls had no trouble disposing of La Crescent on Thursday in a three-set victory, 25-16, 25-15, 25-9.

The Bombers collected ace serves in droves on Thursday. Led by Hailey Huseth’s five aces, Cannon Falls ended the night with 16 points via ace serves. Huseth also had a team-high 17 set assists in the victory.

Madasyn Hofstedt and Carly Broze were the team’s top hitters with seven kills apiece, and Becca Vandenheuvel shored up the back row with 20 digs. Katie Noble and Chase Schaefer each collected two blocks for Cannon Falls.

The Bombers (16-8, 10-2 HVL) close out the regular season on Oct. 18 at the Exchange Club Volleyball Tournament in Rochester.
