Two injured in motorcycle crash
Two people were injured Saturday evening when the motorcycle they were riding on crashed, Pierce County Sheriff's Department reported.
Daniel Hanken, 51, Prescott, was driving the vehicle southbound on Highway 35 in Oak Grove Township when he lost control and entered the west ditch. Both Hanken and his passenger — Barbara Arntzen, 55, Hastings — were ejected.
The sheriff's office and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at 9:45 p.m. Hanken was airlifted from the scene by North Air Care. Artzen was transported by ambulance. Both were taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undetermined injuries.
Red Wing Ambulance, Prescott Police and Prescott Fire and Ambulance assisted at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
