Three injured in Hwy 52 crash
Three people were injured Sunday evening when two vehicles collided at Highway 52 and County Road 50 in Goodhue County, Minnesota State Patrol reports.
A 2003 Buick Park Avenue — driven by Leslie Perrett, 63, Wanamingo — was traveling eastbound on County Road 50 when it collided by a 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette that was northbound on Highway 52 at about 5:20 p.m. The Oldsmobile was driven by Jason Burton, 38, Hewitt, Minn.
Both Perrett and Burton sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Cari Crooker, 33, Hewitt, was a passenger in the Burton vehicle and also sustained non-life-threatening injuries. All three were transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Four more passengers in Burton's vehicle — Samuel Tauber, Caleb Burton, Robert Tauber and Emma Burton, all of Hewitt — were uninjured. All seven people involved in the crash were wearing seat belts.
The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office, Zumbrota Ambulance, Cannon Falls Ambulance and Zumbrota Police Department assisted at the scene.
