Thieves target Stanton vehicles

There was rash of vehicle break-ins the night of April 8 near County 24 Boulevard in Stanton Township. They include:

Randal Schroeder, Stanton Township, reported his vehicle was broken into and a backpack with laptop ($860) was taken. A satellite radio mount ($20) was also damaged.

John and Janelle Abraham, Stanton Township, reported a phone with charger, GPS with charger and a small can of Mace ($385 combined total) were taken from their vehicle.

Linda Traynor, Stanton Township, reported a GPS with charger (no value provided) was taken from her vehicle.

Justin and Amy Samuelson, Stanton Township, reported a canvas tool belt and cellphone charger ($20) was taken from their truck. A Goodhue County Sheriff's Office deputy found the tool belt in a ditch while traveling to the scene and returned it.

Pamela and Garrett Beach, Stanton Township, reported that a baseball equipment bag was taken from their pickup truck.

David and Colton Sande, Stanton Township, reported $5 in change had been taken from their vehicle. A jacket was found on the ground nearby.

Bradley Eldevick, Stanton Township, reported his vehicle was broken into, but nothing was taken.

George Modrak, Stanton Township, reported his trick and minivan had been broken into. A portable DVD player ($60) was taken.

Ronald Waltz, Stanton Township, reported a camera, cellphone and checkbook ($245 combined total) were taken from his vehicle.

Troy Isenberg, Stanton Township, reported a GPS and Streamlight flashlight with charger ($350 combined total) were taken from his truck.
